Team working
Kingsbridge Allan can provide a range of exercises to develop team working skills.
Headed up by John Palmer, a qualified teacher and former head of a residental centre for young people, Kingsbridge Allan’s bespoke team working programmes will suit any group, whatever their requirements and levels of fitness.
John is highly skilled in planning and organising team working exercises having worked with all age and skill levels over the past forty years. All exercises are fully risk assessed and tailored to demand. These could include gorge walking, canoeing, mountaineering or climbing.
The exercises are focussed on different elements of team working to include leadership (both situation and non-situation specific) team roles, communication and problem solving skills. They may be in the form of closed problems or open problems depending on the needs of the group and the organisation.
The value of outdoor team working provides valuable learning in a different situation and offers useful metaphors to use back in the work place. Exercises are fully analysed and reviewed by expert facilitators to ensure maximum learning.
Based in Llangollen, in North Wales, the team working programmes devised by Kingsbridge Allan make full use of the beautiful natural environment of the Dee Valley.
